Conway would be a good choice.

Just like every place there are quiet nice areas of Conway and areas that you should avoid. Conway covers a great deal of territory .

Default Georgetown area--safe

Hi all,

I have applied for and been accepted at a Sr. apt comples on Lincoln St. in Georgetown.
A friend of mine is concerned that it won't be safe there, in that area.
Anyone able to give me the real scoop on that area?
I'm a senior woman.

Thank You!

All I know about Georgetown is driving through there three or four times a year on the way to Charleston. Seems like it stinks most every time we drive through. Sometimes it's so bad we have to turn off the car a/c until we pass over the last bridge. Believe it's the paper mill causing the smell.

Just make sure you check that out and can live with it. Obviously, many do.

Thanks dlcamp. Doesn't sound very appealing, but I wonder how safe it would be for me there.

The paper mill in North Charleston is a lot worse
