I am wondering if there are altenate cheaper ways to dump the trash without paying $70 monthly fee to the trash and waste management company

How you handle the trash stuff? How much do you pay on a monthly or quarterly basis for your trash pickup..

Thanks!

No brainer. Take the trash with you when you make your weekly visit to any of Horry County's two dozen recycling locations and save yourself $70/month. That'll buy a lot of beer. You do recycle don't you??

Can you recycle a complete bag of trash Pawley? I am in Tucson area we pay $19 a month. We had waste management originally and they were horrible jerks-rumor is a mob used to run it, buy not anymore, don't know whether to take that seriously or not.
Some people around here burn their trash, which I think is nasty.
We are lucky a small trash company picked up or area callled talkin trash. Surprisingly they don't even offer recycle cans.

We are in an area where our HOA does not provided trash pickup so we simply take it to the recycle center which is about 2 2-1/2 miles from our house...typically we do so when we go that way anyhow.

A little bit of a nuisance but not a major issue and we know a number of other friends in other development that do the same.

The household trash is not recycled, but the recycling centers have bins for disposal of household garbage, alongside the recycling bins, providing a one-stop solution without the $70/month bill.

Is there any website for the Horry County's recycling service so that I can find the address for the closest location
