I'm a student at Coastal Carolina University and do know that there is some college partying that goes on there but a little bit of that is expected anywhere near the university. Overall it is a very nice, safe area and isn't too far from the beach.
My realtor had me look there. She describes the half of the neighborhood on the Burning Ridge side (toward Conway) of Myrtle Ridge Drive as the best kept non-HOA neighborhood in the area. They seemed to be mostly three bed/two bath/double car garage/vinyl sided homes with decent yard sizes when compared to what I saw in Carolina Forrest.
I think that would probably be an attractive neighborhood for a young family or retirees since it is close to the college, tech, the elementary and high schools and the hospital. It is a good compromise location for a couple if one works in Conway and the other somewhere along the beach. And you have access to both 501 & 544. I am single and usually work at the beach so I decided to just go with a development at the beach for loaction.
