My google efforts are not getting me what I want to know about the turtle conservation group called SCUTE.
I'd like to learn about becoming a volunteer for the group, but I can't find any notice of meetings, orientation or other contact opportunities and my attempts at e-mail have come back as undeliverable.
Anybody out there a SCUTE member or have information about how to get involved with the group??
Give me a day or two...I'm involved with several animal groups, not this one but I think I know someone who is. If not, I have been in touch with orgs that might be able to help you with your efforts or direct you. Thx for reaching out to help animals.
Rapture, I know you will, but please share the info on the board. That is something I want to do when I get to the beach early this coming year...linda
Well, I'm not on facebook, so that doesn't really help me, but the contact information I found there was the ph # at Huntington Beach SP, and the lady at the desk didn't know anything about it but said there is a guy at the Education Center that works with the group and he will be back on Tuesday.
The e-mail I got from the website was once returned as undeliverable, and a re-try has garnered no reply, so don't know about what's happening there.
(843) 237-9821 or (843) 235-8755 or Myrtle Beach State Park at (843) 238-0874. Those are three numbers on the page. I'm not involved with this group, just trying to help you so sorry about Facebook but that's how a lot of ppl communicate these days. If I find something else I'll post.
Thanks Rapture.
Saw a notice on the TV today that states there is a meeting at Litchfield Beach Tomorrow- Tuesday 4/22- at 3 pm. I plan to attend and will post what I learn.
Thanks so much for the support----
Thats great! Keep us updated. Anyone who helps animals or other people are terrific!!!
You're welcome. I have ten friends who liked their page but not one has responded to my question : ( so maybe they just "like" the org. but not involved.
