Shortly after dusk this evening I observed what I believe to be a coyote running into the woods behind my apartment building. I live off Palmetto Pointe Blvd. Has anyone else spotted one in this area?
I am from California and we had coyotes regularly. They rarely caused problems. Just be sure to keep your pets inside if possible!
Years ago you never saw coyotes around here. I did animal control for North Myrtle beach for 12 years and never saw one, but they are now all over Horry county. I live in Little River and saw one on rt 90, but one of my neighbors actually saw one on our street here in Little River drinking from the pond. Be prepared to see them more and more.
