What might be considered "Myrtle Beach" or "The Strand" is huge. From Atlantic Beach to Georgetown. So, with only two days it really depends on where you are staying. If the weather is nice (which is a good bet in May), the beach! Other than that, again, suggestions will depend on where you are.......

Well, there you go. You will be in the heart of the tourist area, so there will be many options. I would suggest the boardwalk and Broadway At The Beach. Plenty of decent places to eat at both.

There's just too much to see and do with you only having 2 days. If it were me, I'd spend time at the ocean and Broadway at the Beach (Ripley's aquarium at BATB is great). Barefoot Landing, Marsh Walk, Brookgreen Gardens, a dolphin cruise, hanging out at the boardwalk are other good options.
And so many restaurants, where to even begin? Senor Frogs, Crabby Mike's, River City Cafe, Rioz, Margaritaville, Ultimate California Pizza or Medieval Times are all rather popular.
Agree with suggestions listed. Broadway at the Beach, Brookgreen Gardens, Boardwalk are favorites. They all have web sites you can review if you Google and make a plan.
