I believe it! I went to this place in Charlotte called Modern Salon and it was 250.00. I almost died!

I'm so happy I found someone so good so fast here and it's close.

You need to stop by Vega and check Greg out. Beth is the new owner.. Marla was the owner, but she's in Charleston now. Sonja is a great stylist also..

What do you think a cut and highlights would cost over at Vega?

I'm really not sure.. Give Greg, or his asst, Shaina, a call at the salon. I'd hate to give a price that isn't right...

Thumbs up Vega hair Design is awesome

I just wanted to let you know that Beth Geiger at Vega Hair Design is GREAT. She does a wonderful job and is also the owner there. Her prices are very reasonable and she is worth even more!!! Her number is 843-692-7799.

Beth bought the salon from Marla, who is now in Chas.. She does come up here to work a few days a week, if I'm not mistaken.

I remember Beth when she and Greg worked at Cheveaux.

On your recommendation here, I just went with my niece to Vega and we both got great cuts! Gene was there and busy, so we had Laura and Shanna. Shanna tacked my tangled, frizzed-out mop and turned it into a sleek, fun layered style that had great motion and actually looked pleasant. Laura had to do my niece's hair 2 different times because she's so fussy. Both times it looked great; both times Laura could not have been nicer.

A fun place, with really talented haircutters - I love Vega Hair Design.

BestSeller-

Glad you picked up the recommendation here! Greag has done my hair for 15+ years... I've known Laura since she was a teenager (again, about 15 years) and Gene and Beth I've also known for some time. They are all talented in their own respects, no doubt about it!

When were you in? Today? Only reason I ask.. is that I had an appt with Greg today myself..

I have lived in myrtle beach, sc, for almost two years and cannot find a decent african american/black hair salon. Please help us in this search. I'm tired of wasting my money and not getting what I want, especially when it comes to relaxers and cuts. Please someone help a Girl out!
