Go to the Admirals Flagship on 17 business in Murrells Inlet, drive around to the back of the restaurant and go in the back kitchen door, tell them you want 1 locals special! You will get oysters, shrimp, scallops, flounder, deviled crab, fries, hush puppies, and your choice of either Slaw or a Salad! This costs $13 plus we usually give the cook a $2 tip! They will then cook the food in front of you in the kitchen! When we want seafood, this is where we go, we bring it back home and it is enough food to feed my wife and son, and my parents......all for $13 plus a $2 tip! I was told the cook there keeps the money as extra, the owner lets him do this! Don't know how much truth there is to that, but there isn't a better deal in the Grand Strand!

If this whole thing is indeed true, would be worth checking out. Never heard about it.

It is indeed true, if you drive around to the back door of the kitchen, they even have a sign on it that says, "Locals special is now $13" back in the day it was $11! We went there Wednesday night this week, had six people to feed, 2 "specials" fed us all with some left over!
omg I'm SOOOO going there. My daughter is going out tonight, I may tell her about it!!
