I used to love alot of the Fantasy movies back in the day that had Evil Queens and Witches/Wizards and Warriors and Dragons etc... as i admit i'm more old school in my choices...
I own Willow.
I watch it once a year, with great pleasure.
I also own several Conan books and comics, always loved Red Sonja. The movies were not terrible, but to me Arnold did not *quite* capture Conan. I wonder if there is anyone today who could--maybe Eric Bana? Not sure...
I also own Ladyhawke. And Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
And the LOTR trilogy, actually liked it better than the books, which were a bit dry IMHO.
Fantasy movies I do not own, but enjoy:
The Golden Compass--loved Nicole Kidman's sympathetic villainous--her slapping-the-golden-monkey sequence was an inspirational Mommie Dearest scene
The Princess Bride
The Neverending Story
Dragonheart
Time Bandits
And I am not sure if this is quite the same thing, but I always loved the Errol Flynn version of Robin Hood.
I love the more recent ones like Harry Potter, The Chronichles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Eragon, and so on. The fantasy genre is definitely one of my favorites for movies, and most books.
Enjoying everyone's picks. I also remembered that i do like a fairly recient one and that was ''Reign of Fire'' as they made the Dragon look and act awesome in that movie.

I really like "Reign of Fire"!
Great acting and all around well done.
I don't keep up with Fantsy as a genre, but when a new movie about dragons comes out and stars good actors - I pay attention.
All great picks (haven't seen Stardust).
Fantasy movies from the early-80s were a huge part of my childhood.
There's also:
Krull
Clash of the Titans
Beastmaster
Dragonslayer
The Sword and the Sorceror
The Dark Crystal
I forgot about some of these movies as these are great Frank !! I just saw The Clash of the Titans just the other day (AMC ?) as the Kraken was a cool monster in that movie along with all the other special effects for that time.
Location: Los Angeles, which as I understand was once upon a time ago part of the United States of America
