Hello,

I will be moving to Morgantown WV in July, by this time I wil be about 7 months preganant. Any suggestions on best hospitals and obstetricians in the area? Is the wait period to see a doctor long?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks to the university, there are a blue billion physicians that are highly talented. I'd suggest just going to Ruby Memorial and talking to the OBGYN staff. Some of the best in the country work there and I'm sure they can take care of you.

Drs. Holehouse & Rollins (OB/GYNs) on Maple Avenue have a very good reputation in Morgantown. Also, Mon General is a smaller but a more personal hospital. Ruby Memorial, in my opinion, is better for trauma situations. Ruby is also a teaching hospital so you may have a room full of people looking at you when you have just had a baby.

Holehouse has good prescribing habits. I know this for a fact, I fill his scripts frequently. So from the standpoint of what he prescribes, he seems to be on the level.
