1200 pharmaceutical jobs coming to Morgantown (lease, construction, manufacturing)

Saw an article today stating that a Korean Pharmaceutical company by the name of UNDBIO pledged to bring 1200 jobs to Morgantown with construction of a brand new plant beginning this year. The facility will be located at the Research Park near Suncrest Towne Center.

That's great news, however the majority will likely be temporary construction related jobs.

I would expect the permanent workforce to be significantly lower but still good news is good news.

According to the article, the 1200 jobs are all [permanent] manufacturing. Doesn’t include construction.

The company has signed a lease at the research park and hopes to hold a groundbreaking ceremony in early 2023.

Great update from UNDBIO.
Phase 1 will be a $100M investment bringing 200 full-time permanent jobs
Phase 2 will be an additional $400M investment, with an additional 1,000 jobs.

Hopefully the DST Innovations planned development bringing 1,000 jobs also comes to fruition. It may, there is a lot of land clearing ongoing at the Morgantown Industrial Park.
