I know the folks that are trying to do the Warner. They're in the process of financing it at the moment.

From what I understand there are several people interested in buying or leasing. The people I know want to do a live concert venue, but they also want a beer and liquor license. From what I understand, you can't get a liquor license in Morgantown without 60% food sales. They don't want to do food sales, so they are looking at beer only.

thanks for the updates. Warner as a music venue is something ive heard a lot of people wanting to do but that no one has had the capital

Glad to see South High getting some new businesses. The Warner as a theater for rock concerts would be great and bring more traffic downtown. The only other place that regularly has bands is 123 and they specialize in Indy/Alternative tunes
