I think part of the credit needs to go to NASA that did offer programs for teachers that included hands-on workshops and even loaner kits. Don't know if they still do this or not due to budget cuts, etc.

I agree. Partnerships with NASA have definitely helped move the program along. It is a huge benefit to us to have that NASA facility nearby.

Robotics is a big thing in NCWV, with WVU regularly winning national competitions against other schools, and offshoots of the University program resulting in young people from NCWV working together as a team and entering national competitions themselves.
