There are not any "hard" height limits to my knowledge. The exact design of the hotel is not by any means concrete at this point, but it should be something in the 12 to 16 story range.

So does anyone know what happened to the Forte Conde Apartments and Hotel announced in 2017 they never happened

Assuming we are talking about the same ones: the I-10 Water Street interchange, Covid, and Interest rates.

If the demand is there, it will be done eventually. There are at least 3 more hotels in the works downtown.

1 is the one at proposed River Walk Plaza on the river, and the other 2 are in the center of downtown.
