I'm a semi retired person moving to MN to be closer to family. My daughter is in Minneapolis. I’m looking at different areas including Red Wing. I’m moving from a small Iowa town. I like bicycling, hiking, outdoors. Any suggestions? No farther than 60-70 minutes out of the city.

Hastings or Cannon Falls would be good options to consider.

Thank you. Hastings seems to be hard to get into within my budget.

Since you’re a bicycle enthusiast, check out the Rails to Trails paths. St Cloud is pretty close to one end of the “Lake Woebegon” trail.

What is your budget?

Faribault is another option which may be cheaper.

What parkway is this? I only been to that area to go tubing but that seems like a nice spot to check out
