Hi. We are really struggling with the real estate market. We have recently found a home in maple grove, if our offer is accepted the zoned HS is osseo, which doesn’t rate well. Maple grove HS closed open enrollment, so my options are, Hopkins 16 min away from the house, or Minnetonka 20 min. I’m assuming travel time will be worse with traffic or weather conditions. Is it worth driving a little further to Minnetonka schools? I’m not super excited about the commute. I have 3 kids, my

You will have to allow extra time for driving, and way more yet in bad weather.

What made you decide to look in Maple Grove? Is that where your jobs are? There are lots of houses in the MG HS attendance boundary.
