Minn. loses bid for 2023 World Expo | Bemidji Pioneer

^Argentina chose “Creative Industries in Digital Convergence” as its theme.

oooooooh, sounds impressive...NOT!

our theme was; “Healthy People, Healthy Planet”, which given the current occupant of the White House probably raised a few snickers amongst the selection committee. They should have used my idea; "Come to Minnesota and hang out with Prince and his Fly Girls....party til the sun comes up in Eden Prairie"

up yours Argentina, I for one will not be attending and will take my Steely Dan CD; 'Gaucho' off my favorites list immediately

This was an almost perfect post until you said Eden Prairie instead of Chanhassen, where Paisley Park is located. As someone who went to a Steely Dan concert about 20 years ago, I concur and will remove "Gaucho" from my list, too. Other than the Chanhassen omission, your post was spot on as usual!

Seriously think it was a sympathy vote myself as they wanted to give South America a 2nd chance after the Rio De Janeiro Olympics debacle.

Actually, I think I just saw him the other day hanging out with Elvis.

For the sake of the 28 people who planned on attending this, I’m glad they went with Argentina.

Default Probably slept with the judges

What is with the title of your thread?
It has nothing to do with the article and subject of your thread topic.

The title to your thread is odd and disturbing.
