Greetings Minnesotans! My wife is contemplating a job in Waseca. I've done a bit of research, and it seems like a nice place, but I have some specific questions about it:

Waseca is great, it is a nice town with nice shops and stuff but 20 minutes east is Owatonna which is a much bigger and more active town. They also have a shuttle service that brings you anywhere in the County

Waseca has a nice little main street which can get busy during certain times, Short walk away from Clear Lake which is a big plus.
For transportation to the Twin Cities:
I dont know too much about transportation between Owatanna - Waseca Area to Minneapolis but i know there's free shuttle buses to Mystic Lake Casino. However its only on Tuesdays
Route 9 | Mystic Lake Casino Hotel
Jefferson Lines and Greyhound will take you to Minneapolis, just over a 2 hour ride for about $25 a seat
