I better check to see if I have flea and tick medicine left for our dog. Mosquitoes were out last week too.

people say a good cold winter kills bugs but not from my experience... they may be out earlier this year but they seem to come out with force whenever it warms up, regardless of how cold the winter. Glad they're out, means it's warming up!

Well, the current pattern with temps 30-40F above average definitely is not even remotely typical, and I've seen ticks and black flies out in NH and they usually arrive in May into June. So 2-3 months early at the very least. Winter was also nearly non-existant here as well.

OH NO! Please, say it's not so! I have lyme disease from one already! I've paid my dues for living in the woods! (Gotta go now and hide in the bathroom!)

ICK! Going to be joining light_shimmer for an extended stay back in MN this spring. I am looking forward to everything Minnesota with the sole exception of those darn wood ticks!
