Does anyone know if St. Cloud had an F. W. Woolworth store in the 1930's? If not, was there another chain variety store there during that time, such as S.S.Kresge?
Has anyone seen period B/W photos of these stores?
Thanks.

Thats way before my time. My mom used to tell me how she shopped at Woolworths a long long time ago.
I'd love to see black and white photos of St Cloud from that time.

And there was also a Woolworths chain in the UK that completely went out of business a few years ago, and some other business bought the name and runs a website with it. Woolworths.co.uk - Full of Toys, Entertainment, Kids Clothing, Party Ideas & Pic n' Mix

You can check out the MN Historical Society's website here: collections.mnhs.org/visual resources/

They have an amazing collection of photos that I've passed a lot of time looking through. Check 'em out!
