Does anyone know of any private schools for children with learning disabilities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area?

Thank you.

Elise

The one school that I'm aware of is Groves Academy in St Louis Park (on the west side of Highway 100 north of Highway 7). I've heard nothing but high praise for this school. I've heard anecdotally from parents who have kids there that some families have actually resettled from other parts of the country to have their kids attend this school.

Default thank you!

Thank you so much for that information. I would like to try public school for my son first, but would like to have the option of private school as he grows older.....Thanks again....Elise

There is another in Roseville. A co-worker of mine sent his son there. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name. He said it was very expensive.

Generally the LD services in the public schools are very good so there isn't a great need for private schools which is why you won't see many around.
