I got big ticket for drinking vodka on the street in NYC, which i don't understand why i didn't do anything bad to anybody.... Do you have different rules in Minneapolis, cause i'm Russian and mandotory for us to drink alcohol in public places !

No, unless you're on an enclosed sidewalk patio bar.

There's a good Russian restaurant close by us that you might like though: Welcome to St. Petersburg Restaurant & Vodka Bar!

200 types of vodka ? Sounds intresting i only tested 45 in my life ( 45 that i can remember by name ) I guess i will be permanent resident of that bar !

Of course you can drink Vodka on the streets here! You can do anything you want! It's America for god's sake! And you and I BOTH know that NYC isn't really America, I mean, given all those horrible immigrants, African "Americans" and Latinos.

Nice posts, RuslanK. I think you actually have some people going here.

Oh, and Camden. Props to you on the "Burg" - great place!

That's what i saw in the movies man, great people doing anything what they want, and if you compare freedom in NYC and Moscow, you guys live in Communist Society cause we have so much freedom in Moscow. What's up with those great movies about freedom in US, i know Minneapolis is the **** ;-) Minneapolis is land for free people like me, also i heard Seattle is nice !!!

Hey buddy, i just wanted to say you have to take it easy, life in Moscow is a lot better, you should come and live there you would like it. I just come for one year for my job, and not planning to stay more than one year !!!Trust me...

Ok, I'll play along....legally you cannot drink on the streets in the United States unless a certain event is going on. I agree that it is nice, and makes one feel a bit more free, when you can walk down the street with a bottle, get on a bus, get into a car, etc. and no-one is going to care (my experience is with Europe, not Russia), but here in this country we use good old American know-how. Put the vodka in a water bottle, and know one is going to notice
