Are these simply copy cat robberies, taking after their California cousins, or is this the new way to shop for Christmas presents.

Best Buys looted in both Burnsville and Maplewood.

This could frankly lead to trouble...Unlike California or New York, Minnesota is a shall issue state.....These clowns will loot the inner city dry and move out to the burbs to pillage at will. Until they run into someone with a gun who will feel their life is in danger and BANG another dead terriosit.... That God the KR trial saved the right to self defense!

You didn't like the Verdict in KR case I see Nothing vigilante about it ( just like the Jury agreed in Kenosha). Meanwhile here in Minnesota, Some old lady with a pistol in her purse is going to start dropping the hammer on a smash and grab mob just wait......It's bound to happen

The only problem with this is if this were to happen, the old lady will be charged with murder here in MN. Plus riots will ensue. The cop in Brooklyn Center her trial starts this week… Someone on the NE Mpls Facebook group mentioned a Mercedes came at him in his alley last evening with intention to take his vehicle. He said he had protection and the BM’s saw this and left him alone.

One of the excuses in California is that there is no felony prosecution for stealing under $950 worth of merchandise; it is just a misdemeanor. What is the limit in Minnesota?

Asking for a friend.

If the criminal justice system wasn't so soft as it is today, vigilantes wouldn't be much of an issue.

This sort of thing happened in Noblesville (burb of Indianapolis) last year, which is more red than Maplewood and Burnsville combined. If Burnsville has turned into utter trash, rent would be lower than it is.
