Maybe I should have given you a link to this website:

https://www.exploreminnesota.com/

It has much better photos, and it's fun to browse. That'll not just give you ideas on places to go in MN, but also some events and stuff.

From doing research it appears houston and Minneapolis have similar crime rates.. Minneapolis slightly high murder rate, violent crime rate and property crime rate. But not by much. I wouldn't go walking around north Minneapolis especially at night. Or east lake street and Chicago Avenue unless it's daytime. If you mind your own business and pay attention to your surroundings you should be fine..

Sad and sickening that this is what America has turned into. It wasn't like that 100 years ago - it was a high trust civilization. Those that have run big cities for the last 50 years (I'll let you guess their political ideology) destroyed their cities seemingly willingly.

Nothing is like what it was 100 years ago. Just like 100 years from now, nothing will be like today.

I'd be willing to bet crime-wise (or lack thereof) in places in Sweden it's about the same it was 100 years ago.

The inner city crime rampant/endemic in every inner city in America is in many ways self-inflicted.
