Could someone shine some light on how it was moving from the MD-DC area?

In terms of:

diversity/integration
friendliness
restaurants
infrastructure
public services
education
raising a family
etc?

Thank you!

I have never lived in the DC area but have friends that do. I guess I can say that they enjoy their visits to the Twin Cities. We actually spend quite a bit of time in St. Paul. Sorry, can’t compare the day to day experience between the two though.

The DC area is much bigger than Saint Paul, so comparisons are hard. What DC area are you referring to?

Most people consider the Wash DC/Baltimore/Frederick triangle to be the "DC area".

I grew up in the Twin Cities area, and go back fairly often.

I lived in Frederick, Md for 3 years, but worked/commuted to Bethesda and then SE DC for a while.

Completely different worlds from each other, and Saint Paul.
