As the title states, what is traffic like in the morning traveling from Richfield to Plymouth?

That can be a pretty slow ride, especially during peak hours. 62 and 494 are often pretty messy in the morning.

On the plus side, depending on exactly where you're coming from and where you're going, you will have some alternative options. Sigalert.com is good for traffic reports. On a bad day, you can take surface streets or even 35W to 394.

Thanks. I'll check into the site you mentioned. I'm on a temp assignment working in Plymouth everyday. Currently at a hotel in St. Louis Park but Richfield is closer to the office I'll have to be going to every few days (plus the hotel has cheaper). Probably just save myself the frustration of fighting traffic every morning and stay where I'm at.

I do a similar commute. Traffic should be moderately heavy but should flow pretty well in the morning. Afternoons, on the other hand, will be bumper to bumper between 4-7.
