Does anyone know of any adoption centers or orphanages in the area? I've googled everything I can think of and have found absolutely nothing. I'd really like to volunteer at one of these places and was wondering if someone on here might know where I can find one. Any info would be much appreciated.

There are definitely a lot of needy kids out there so I give you credit for wanting to help them. I would suggest looking into volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program to help kids who may be lacking parental role models:

Nowadays kids who don't have families are placed in foster care, not orphanages. You could definitely try calling the Department of Children & Families to see if they have volunteer opportunities with foster kids available (their phone number is 608-267-3905 ).
