is going to be in Detroit. I didn't post this in the Detroit forum because I figured that more people would see it here. I realize it's Friday night and a lot of you have things to do, but if you're home, it's on HGTV at 7:30 PM. "House Hunters" is nice because it always shines a positive light on the city where it takes place. I'm looking forward to watching it!

I think it's the couple in Auburn Hills. I was hoping it was the Harper Woods one. I always keep my eye out for that bald chick.

Oh, are they in Auburn Hills? I wondered, because it said that they were going to look for a house with three bedrooms, a big yard, and a two car garage, and it did sound kind of suburban. I have never seen the bald chick in Harper Woods episode, or this episode that is going to be on tonight. I have only seen the one where the young couple looks for a condo in downtown Detroit. The husband is from a suburb of Detroit and really wants to live in the 'burbs, but the wife is Korean and grew up in Seoul and wants to live in the heart of a big city, hence their search for something downtown. Man, that episode made Detroit look like an awesome place to live and, I imagine, had people all over the country scratching their heads and wondering where all the burned out houses and gangs were, and how come no one ever told them that Detroit had a vibrant, attractive riverfront with upscale condos and gorgeous, well maintained old neighborhoods like Indian Village? LOL. I think that Mayor Bing should invite the "House Hunters" people to Detroit for an appreciation dinner.

If this is the episode I'm thinking of, the couple rents in Auburn Hills and buys a home in Bloomfield.

The Harper Woods one was a younger blond chick who was moving out of her parents Grosse Pointe home and she bought in Harper Woods. Halfway through the show she shaved her head.

Yeah, they changed it! The program guide on their website and on my TV both said Detroit! Well, sorry guys, but it's not my fault, I just reported what I read. Oh well, enjoy the Lansing episode, I guess!

I've only been to Lansing a handful of times, once to tour the State House, once for a horse show, and once for a football game, which was actually in E. Lansing. It's nice up that way, not quite as flat as it is here in Monroe Co. We also participated in a horse show in Shiawasee Co., which I guess is fairly near Lansing, and it was really pretty there.
