Supposedly they are predicting no snow for SE Michigan this year. I think they mean no retained snow, not no snow in the air. Hopefully that sad prediction will be false like most turn out to be.

Got that right! West of Lake Michigan (Wisc) vs east of the lake (Lower Mich) is like day & night. Run the NWS radar Green Bay or Milwaukee at this time of the year - you'll see the clouds/precip just starts midlake and moves east.


Only problem there is Wisc is at the east edge of CST (dark at 5 PM in Dec [ugh]); Mich is west edge of EST - always still a peek of light out at 5:30 PM, even in Dec.
