Hello,

I've never been to Michigan before and will arrive Saturday. We would like to spend a few days relaxing in the area (couple ages 50s), which ideally would include the ability to go for a nice long walk in the mornings/evenings, maybe rent bikes, enjoy sitting next to the water, and walkability to a coffee shop. I've searched the area and hotels, and I can't figure out if any of these areas allow for that. I would love to park the car and not move it except for a few daytime excursion to the mushroom houses and a boat ride. Open to surrounding areas as well. Thank you so much!

You can do that any any of the 3 cities. Charlevoix also offers a ferry service that goes out to Beaver Island in the middle of Lake Michigan. That island could make a good trip also.
