okay "university student", that's pushing it. do not move to hialeah.

dadeland would probably be a good match.

Ginger, instead of resurrecting a thread from the dead why don't you just start a new one?

I've never lived anywhere but Brickell. Any suggestions on Pinecrest, Doral, Coral Gables, Coconut Grive, Dadeland, Sunset? It's all just giberish in my mind.

Also, best schools?

Thanks
Pinecrest = suburbs and upper middle and upper. Isn't walkable in terms of urban environment, more 'burbs A schools for Elem and I believe Middle, think highschool is A as well. semi diverse. You can get good space over here though. We looked at a 2 bedroom with a HUGE utility closet that was the size of a junior (don't know if you know what those room sizes are). was gated as well with free laundry if I remember right and it was 1400 a month.

Doral = 'burbs and way out west. Not sure about the schools. Not sure about the population

Coral Gables = 'burbish unless you live downtown. Walkable though (if you are in or near downtown). I think the schools are A and B schools. Not so diverse

Coconut Grove = walkable just stay in center grove or north grove. North grove is less walkable, center grove is VERY walkable. Elementary school is A school, Middle is A or B forget which. Diverse population.

I would also say, I know you may want to skimp on rent but DONT. skimping on rent might find you in a not so nice situation.
