Posting this a bit late, but have been hearing of this project for a while now and it was announced earlier this week. I have to say, I'm impressed with it and truly love it. Parts of it remind me of Griffintown, to be honest, with the architecture and emphasis on mix-use.

5K units for low-income and work force housing, 700K sq ft of parks and recreational space, commercial spaces, services, etc.. This is a huge game changer that will propel Miami on an urban and cohesive level, and if approved, will be an exciting project for the city. I am 110% on board with this project and excited about it, I wonder what others on here think of it.

Would be absolutely amazing for Miami to get this. I hope it gets approved. Instant game changer and a model for other “modern” cities, particularly these rapidly growing sunbelt places.

Same honestly, it'll be a huge win for the city and hopefully others can replicate this model. It's rare for Miami to be leading in this regard, so there's a lot of optimism with this.
