Miami doesn't seem to be losing any steam. Understandable to me as a lucky resident of the area for almost two years. What happens when interest rates begin to decline? Maybe it doesn't matter much here as many buyers are all cash.

I love when they say house prices are going up....only a 3 month supply....low inventory....strong buyer demand

...and at the same time say it's the least affordable

to who! LOL.....it's obviously affordable to someone

As a former NY’er and Californian who lives here full time, not a few months, I’m benefitting by all the new retail/restaurants and people still coming here—Pastis, Bouchon Bistro, Avra, Julia & Henry’s, Koko, Red Phone Booth, the world’s greatest soccer player: Messi, etc.

We're living the dream! Sure many things can be improved, but so far what a positive experience. Also, added two more employees to our Wynwood office. Relocated from our NY office for a better quality of life.

Locals are leaving in droves, that's why MDC has been losing population since 2017... Foreign money is okay to an extent, needs to be a balance. But everyone knows Miami is not a city for all people, just a select few.

I have known you for so long and you ALWAYS hit the nail on the head. Sometimes, I don't know why I still live in Miami with everything happening, but it is hard to uproot family. We have both seen a lot of changes in this city, but as a local, it has hit me harder and I will always thank you for standing up for locals, even though you are not originally from here.

Maybe you should move back and fight for us again? I know you are done with politics, but it would be nice to see a familiar face at City Hall again, and one who actually cares about the people.
