Brightline has been a real blessing to the area. Def support it expanding further and offering more stops.

How long will it take Tampa (your favorite part of the state, yet you’re always in the Miami forum) to figure it out?

I honestly don't think the rail had anything to do with it....the rail is just laid out where those neighborhoods were going up anyway

Agree the infrastructure was already there, but Brightline brought a higher standard of care to the train experience than was being offered in the past. More timely, cleaner, more comfortable, etc.

Miami traffic is a nightmare story worthy of Stephen King.

Anywhere on the line is good and Cocoa the most central And therefore the eventual executive neighborhood of choice: easily commute to Miami, Orlando, Tampa and still live at the beach. Hit 2 out of 3 airports via direct stops.

Ft Lauderdale still hasn't figured it out. We are choking to death on exhaust from gridlock traffic.

: Congrats.... it took Miami 100+ years to figure out what other cities have been doing lol.

IMO to be a world class city you need to have sufficient public transportation options. Miami is sort of stuck in the middle. It's beginning to think about it but really never has pulled the trigger on getting us there. Brightline is not a viable public transportation option for Metro Miami. It's an upscale Amtrack for people who can afford it. In the urban areas of the Northeast living within walking distance of public transportation is more desirable and therefor more expensive. I'm not sure Miami will ever figure it out, especially if public transportation is only attractive for economic reasons instead of convenience.

well the price is too high. try taking 3 or more people; see price for tickets, then you'll take your car.
