Luckily I got gas last week before there was a shortage. Yesterday I drove past 6 stations, 5 didn't have any gas, one had a line of about 20 cars blocking the right turn lane on northbound US1 just south of 120th Street. I'll be going this route again today, I'l report back.

Bummer! The news here reported gas stations in Broward County having problems getting fuel because of the trucks' inability to get to them due to local street flooding in the area. Did south Miami-Dade county also have serious flooding due to the recent rainstorms, or is there something else going on to compromise the fuel supply chain tbere?

So far, no issues that I know of here in SWFL, but we didn't get near the rainfall y'all did.

I read that Miami-Dade gas supplies come from Port Everglades which is located between Hollywood and Ft. Lauderdale where a lot of the flooding occurred. We had steady rain here but not flooding rain.

"The disruption in gas deliveries has been caused by flooded roads in and out of flooded fuel farms in Port Everglades."

Yeah, now that I think about it, that makes sense. I knew, once upon a time, that Miami's gas supplies came via Port Everglades, and I figure the areas around the port got flooded big time.

Hope you're able to get those gas supplies rolling soon!
