Very thrilling series with a number of games going down to the wire, including last night's Japan walk off win over Mexico thriller. Good to see a packed stadium with enthusiastic fans (would be great if the Marlins--whom I expect to be more competitive this year--could draw half those crowds to their games).

Miami gets an often bad rap as a fair weather sports town but this year's WBC has been a success; Miami has hosted the most Super Bowls of any city (an average of 1 every 5 years); the Miami Open (though I wish it was still being played in Key Biscayne); and, both, the Heat and Dolphins have a loyal fan base.

I did not get a chance to go to any of the games but watched with keen interest on television and, more importantly, was able to get a pic with a very gracious Shohei Ohtani--the most sough after superstar at the entire classic--at my gym which is located in the hotel where the Japanese team is staying.

Hoping for a good final game tonight; I will miss the final innings as I have a late night flight out of town.

Agreed. The World Baseball Classic was amazing and had great energy! Lots of national pride on display.

I have a call with my Marlins rep tomorrow for half season tickets this year!
