I bought a new car recently. Looking from some roads with a few curves to take a ride on. I know this is a tall ask as twisty roads and South Florida don't belong in the same sentence. But, figured I should ask the forum if there might be some hidden roads that I am not aware of. Thanks!

I'd probably add the Overseas Highway (US 1) from Key Largo to Key West. Not especially windy but one of the most scenic

roads in Florida.

Old Cutler was my favorite for spirited driving roads as far back as the seventies. Lots of traffic now so you
have to pick your times wisely to do any kind of spirited driving on Old Cutler.

If you're thinking "Windy roads" (which I think would be better referred to as windING roads, because "windy" just sounds like roads with a lot of wind) because you have some adventurous romantic notion of driving your BMW quickly around rain soaked curves like you're on the Autobahn, as in to test your car's performance on the curves, you will be sadly let down. Sure, there are plenty of curves, especially in the Old Cutler, Cartagena Park area, but also a massive traffic jam. This is mostly the case around South Florida. These are not areas which you can drive around fast or zip around corners without having to worry about running into stopped traffic in front of you. This is just as true for Homestead as it is for Miami.

Alton Road is a rare example of a winding road in South Florida.
