Miami is also where players can experience an intersection of various cultures unlike anywhere else in America – and perhaps the world at large. It’s where European and South American flair collide. According to the World Population Review, Miami is the most diverse city in the world based on the population of its foreign-born residents.

“Miami,’ Athea said, “is not America.”
LOL this made me laugh. There's no European flair in Miami, the only place you find that is in Quebec. Also, world's most diverse city? A city where 93% of immigrants are from one region, hilarious. It feels like every other Southern American city, just with more Spanish, and it's far from the most diverse city in the world. These articles about Miami being some utopia are hilarious yet exhausting, no such thing as a perfect place and Miami is nowhere close to perfect. Unless you want to park your money, not pay taxes or engage in tax fraud, of course.

Awesome! I love this city because of the international vibe. I have Italian, Hungarian, French, German, Swedish and of course many Latin friends here since making the move. Great quote below from the article. Captures what makes Miami so special.

I love going to the Miami Shell in North Miami Beach. They host great international music events. I saw French swing, Brazilian, and Italian singers/bands. I love the local French, Brazilians and Italians show up and dance and sing to the music. Very special. Like nowhere else.

The gist of the article is that soccer stars like Miami because nobody recognizes them.
