Just learned another person jumped to their death, latest one from the 48th floor at East Hotel tonight….this is at least the 6th one I’ve heard of in Brickell alone within the past year.

Brings back bad memories from my college days when students would jump to their death from bridges to the gorges below.

Yeah I've experienced that too and unfortunately witnessed the event a few years ago in Brickell with the mom throwing her son off the balcony/then herself. So ****ing disturbing

Of course we don’t hear about this in the regular news. I have been finding out about these incidents from the Brickell Living group on Facebook as well as the Citizen app which also provides crime and accident alerts.
