Still filming a police car chase scene as I am writing, right in front of the CVS and JW Marriott. Not sure when they will be shutting down the MacArthur Causeway—that ought to be fun driving around that time (sarcasm).

They've been filming in the downtown/Brickell area all weekend. The MacArthur Causeway shutdown in scheduled for next Sunday afternoon.

I think they were headed to Brickell City Centre following Brickell Avenue today.

Miami should be getting very good exposure following the release of this film in early 2020 plus the Super Bowl.

It will be interesting to see how much Miami (especially the skyline) has changed from the first Bad Boys movie filmed over 20 years ago.

No, they were filming at BCC earlier in the day. They started at 5:00am both Saturday and Sunday. The schedule for Saturday was 5am-10am and for Sunday was 5am-12noon; however, they were still filming along 8th St. in front of BCC when I walked by around 12:15pm, so I don't know when they actually wrapped up at that location.

A security guard at the Dadeland South station told me that they had received an email that there was supposed to be filing in this area (Dadeland??) between noon and 4pm today, as of 11:30am, nothing had been set up. I wonder if it's for Bad Boys or something else? She said the email didn't specify exactly where or what was being filmed. Is there anyway to find out?

Maybe check to see if the film permit was issued to “Garden Films Productions”—if so, then it very likely is for the new Bad Boys movie.
