That was the Jewish hang out in that part of town. Great chow all the time.

Millers Ale House there now, or abouts..Another great Sports Bar with cheap and delicious food

Default Miami Dalt's Grill on 117th and Kendall Dr

One of the most fun waitress jobs I ever had, !991 - 94. That is, except after hurricane Andrew hit! There were hardly any other restaurants open in that area, (Kendall) so we got hit really hard for days! One of the best perks about working there was the food; it was so good, and so fresh! The other perk was working with a great bunch of mostly young people. I sometimes wonder where they are and how they're doing.

Yes!! I remember!! late 80s. Would have (if my memory doesn't fail me) awesome fajitas there. Also I remember some sort of awesome french fries, either the skin was still on the fries or they put black pepper on them, they were awesome. I was there and at Bennigans often with friends back in the 80s (I think Bennigans was across the street from Dalts more or less).

thanks for mentioning this, good times. Also an honorable mention, JJ's Diner in South Miami, had a great onion loaf and dolphin sandwich.

Now, the Kendall Miller's Ale House is in that Center, and that is a GREAT place for Bar Food and Better. Prices also great, BTW any Ale House in Florida does it for me, and I know of at least a dozen of them all over the Sunshine Land.
