It looks like I will be getting a job in C.C. Can anyone tell me of interesting things to do and see in Coral gables, I will have a baby with me and pram - and would like to walk a lot with a pram and see the sights.. any advice on parks, restaurants, cafes, shops, nice sights to see would be gratefully received.

thanks

Coral Gables is one of the nicer areas in Miami Dade County .. quite unique and beautiful frankly ... Miracle Mile is very walkable as are most of the neighborhoods .. go to the Biltmore hotel and have a coffee by the pool or go to Venetian Pool with your baby ... it is a beautiful place .

For sure put the Venetian pool on your list. The water is cold but it is a unique place that has not gone downhill. Miracle Mile is not as good as it once was, but is sure seems to attract a crowd, especially during the holiday season. Drive down Granada, if you like golf maybe try its golf course. Really not much to make the Gables outstanding, except a lot of trees. It reminds me of Labelle, but much more expensive.

Anyone can walk in and eat there. But the pools and other facilities are not.
