Can anyone recommend a good preschool somewhere in the Annapolis/Arnold area? I can only afford to pay about $225 / month ( plus additional if they offer other activities and/or before and after care). I would rather not use a religiously affiliated school but am willing to use a Christian school if it is really good and fits my budget.

The amount that you are quoting seems low to me. Since no one seems to be responding who actually has a child in preschool in the Arnold/ Annapolis area, I can tell you that the Board of Ed has an early childhood office who can send you list of daycare/preschools in the county. I don't think it has the prices on the list so you will have to call each one to get their rates. The tel. # is 410-222-5000. The most affordable program around is through the high schools' early childhood program which is only a $25. registration fee(it may have gone up since I last heard) for the semester. But the downside is that it has more days off than a traditional preschool due to being a training certification program for highschoolers and following the county public school calendar. It is an excellent option if you are looking for some socialization/early learning experinece for your child. Good luck!

There are few county schools with daycare and pre k programs. Check the Anne Arundel County education website.
