I love Open Farm Days - which this year is tomorrow the 26th. Close to 100 farms all over the state are taking part this year. We try to go to a different one or two each year. This year we are heading down to Union to check out Sweet Grass Farm Winery and Distillery, and if there is time we will also go over to Savage Oaks Vineyrd and Winery - also in Union.

Food & Farms - Visit - Open Farm Day (http://www.getrealmaine.com/visit/open_farm_day.html - broken link)

If I were closer to Nezinscot Farm in Turner I'd go there again. Gloria has the new cheese room open. They'll have a wine and cheese tasting.

Just read the article about Sweetgrass Winery and Distillery in Downeast Mag. Great article. Hope I can get there tomorrow as well!
