I am all for new ideas, but the mayor's proposal for this and subsidized housing across from the Convention Center and next to the new National Park and across the river from downtown leads me to think, WTF?. I am lost. I was on board with everything until this. It just makes no sense. Magnetic gondolas to nowhere and inviting more crime and foolishness to East Macon and downtown? I just don't get it and vehemently oppose it!

I’m convinced y’all have never witnessed at city change
This is a new age of technology- the project is far fetched—- yes
But the city would only be making room for future development
Atlanta failed to do so by building a city that couldn’t keep up with its time
Now the city is one big disaster
I may not know Macon as well as you all do- but I do know that life is about perspective
In other words- Looking for bigger solutions instead of shooting down change
A city that is growing will require more solutions to crime- especially considering the fact that Macon is so close to Atlanta— it’s only a matter of time until the city starts to pop off
Id just be prepared for a change—- years of uncomfortable change in a city that has barely changed in the past 20 years
