You cannot justify a $18,000,000 new construction loan from a bank at a venue like a Hurricane Museum.

If you can create an accurate, profitable, yearly cash flow forecast for 30 years on that property then please call a Lake Charles bank and give it to them!

The only other way to bridge the gap needed for that museum is to make the tax payers pay for it... oops! They denied that too!

My thing is, were they not able to build a nice museum w/ the $42,000,000 that was already gathered? Why not?

They should have built most of the museum with the money and then add an $18 million wing later.

Why would I donate if I know they aren't going to build it?

When it's built I will definitely patronize that museum, my whole family will.

Yes sir. Crying Eagle Brewing Company also plans on building a restaurant next to it. It’s about damn time that we get some lakefront plans.

A Rouses Market is finally under construction. I'm interested to see how it turns out when the project is complete. There will then be three stores in the area. Already one in Sulphur and one in Moss Bluff.
