Can't this crap stay at the city institutions? Most of these clowns are just a bunch of bored, loser kids looking for attention. I hope Stoneybrook and any other college on LI has them arrested and expells these troublemakers.
Living up to its reputation as a motley collection of misfits and lefties…
The Faculty Senate at Stony Brook University voted overwhelmingly Monday to demand that the school drop charges against 29 students and faculty arrested in connection with a pro-Palestinian protest last week.
He is up above telling everyone the protest is in the hamlet, not the town of Stonybrook
If I may jump in here and defend Walter's legacy. It's not easy for a municipality to make a decision whether or not to become a Hamlet over becoming a town, etc. Quite often it results in a "to be, or not to be" committee stalemate, with one of the elected officials contemplating a skull in his or her outreached hand.
My old man taught at Stony Brook back in the late 60s. He had stories about the antiwar protests where they waved NLF banners and burned American flags.
For a generation that despises Boomers, they sure as hell act just like them.
