On Sunrise Highway, Wantagh, The Nook restaurant was demolished this week. One review says that it opened in 1929 and had a succession of owners and names. At one time it had a decorative windmill. Can anyone offer more historical data? I think that for a while it was owned by the lady who greeted people as they arrived. I wish I could recall her name.
