Several times someone wanted to insult me here in this forum and called me NIMBY for criticizing something that was happening in the area or around my house.

The next time you feel like you want to call someone a NIMBY, think what you thought about Hockul's housing plan. If you didn't want new housing here, you are a NIMBY too.

Thanks.

Wow, glad I don’t call you neighbor. Your need to post this speaks volumes.

Since you brought up the plan: do you routinely show up to zoning board hearings to speak out against Mother/Daughter permits or legal two-family conversions? Because that's the same thing the governor was calling for, albeit in a limited area. Your township or village already has the mechanisms in place to double housing capacity, just on a house-by-house basis and only after paying tribute to the zoning board.

Airplane noise for sure, but I guess he finally saw the light and gave that up.

Who cares what her intentions were. Nothing the left says should be taken at face value anymore, if they want something, it must be bad for us, because that's their business. I've made this point in another thread, maybe some Germans voted for Hitler because they liked that he was a vegetarian and wanted socialized healthcare, but the brand is rotten. Sorry, here's some genocide with your healthcare.

Yeah this had nothing to do with Democrats driving stakes or some larger agenda. I'm pointing out the lunacy of people fighting so hard against something that the building codes already allowed and that they themselves routinely permit to happen over a larger area already.
