Hey all. I put it on my list but know very little about the complex except I will be able to afford an apartment on the low end of pricing. I like that it has a pool and a good work commute. It's for a single middle-aged woman. Any info would be appreciated!!

It's a lot of older folks. I'm sure their rental/sales office gives tours, go check it out for yourself.

what I remember from years ago was hearing that it was mostly singles ( many divorced) and older couples.

I deliver doordash/uber eats there often. It's basically an old age Jewish retirement home.

Apparently it has not changed too much since I left.

Apparently on my teacher salary, the realtor I spoke to today made it seem as though unless I paid for the entire apartment in cash, the board would not sell it to me anyway lol.

How much do the apartments go for?

One of my relatives lives there. Her apartment is a nice size and it's really quiet. The pool is beautiful and maintained well. There's a restaurant, a small grocery store, and a movie theater in the complex. There are families there and older folks. I really like it.

Teachers make decent money in NYC and LI. Why would the board deny you for that??

I am thinking I wont have the assets they want to see. A realtor told me they want a DTI of 28-30%. I also heard that you need the same amount in the bank as what the apartment sells for. I am a relatively new return to NYC schools. I was home many years with my kids.

How old is your family that lives there?
